Winter Adventure in Southern Alberta
(Crowsnest Pass and Waterton National Park)

Discover some of the best terrain in Canada's winter time Rockies. With a variety of track set and ungroomed trails we can create a memorable winter experience just for you. For the more adventuresome why not try out an untracked trail with your guide there to do all the trail breaking for you? Can it get any better? Or make the day more complete with hot chocolate and schnapps to warm your insides after a hard days skiing or snowshoeing.

This is the adventures you can experience in the Southern Alberta Rockies from Crowsnest Pass to Waterton National Park.

  • Day 1
  • Calgary : Arrival in Calgary and overnight in Calgary
  • Day 2
  • Cowboy Trail - Crowsnest Pass: Drive south along the beautiful Rocky Mountains on the Cowboy Trail to Crowsnest Pass.
  • Day 3 & 4
  • Backcountry Skiing / Snowshoeing: We have the option to offer you day up to 1 days of backcountry skiing, snowshoeing.

    No lift lines, stunning vistas and untracked snow await you. All programs can be done on snowboards, snowshoes, alpine touring, or free heel telemark skis. At the end of day 4, drive to Waterton National Park and enjoy the evening at the lodge in this beautiful secluded village.
  • Day 5
  • Ski Castle Mountain: Experience the Castle and find out why it is considered the Jewel in the Crown on the Continental Divide. The legendary powder, 910 cm is often compared to heli skiing, at a fraction of the cost. The purest ski and snowboard lines imaginable can be found on the 864 meters vertical rise and over 725 hectares of skiable terrain.
  • Day 6
  • Waterton: Enjoy the morning and early afternoon at your leisure or explore some of the sights or trails in the area. 2 hours drive to Calgary later in the afternoon, overnight in Calgary
  • Day 7
  • Departure: Morning departure
