Enjoy a winter ski holiday in ski resorts of Lake Louise and Kananaskis Country. The ski areas are well known for excellent conditions throughout the winter season with snowmaking on the mountains. • Day 1
• Calgary: Arrival in Calgary and overnight in Calgary
• Day 2 & 3
• Ski Lake Louise: Drive to Lake Louise where you ski two days on the mountain. Get carried away by fabulous snow conditions and breathtaking views. Visit the famous Chateau Lake Louise for dinner or tea. Overnight in Lake Louise.
• Day 4
• Snowshoeing: The quiet beauty of winter in the Rockies is a delight to explore on snowshoes. The snow acts as a canvas, recording the tracks of snowshoe hares, pine martens and even the occasional lynx. There are hidden secrets too: beneath the snowpack are hibernating grizzly bears and a vibrant winter ecosystem fueled by mice and voles. Enjoy a half day snowshoe tour in Lake Louise. Overnight at Kananaskis country.
• Day 5
• Kananaskis Country - Nakiska: Drive to Nakiska Ski area and ski a full day on the slopes where the winter Olympics took place in 1988. Mount Allen is well known for very well groomed slopes and good carving. Overnight at Kananaskis Country. Ski Adventure in the Rocky Mountains Lake Louise and Kananaskis Country.
• Day 6
• Dog Sledding in K-Country: The trip takes you back to the days of the early European explorers who learned from their Metis (Native) Guides how to live in this Winter Wonderland! Your friendly guide will impart fascinating stories from the history of this area as well as leading you on a journey of discovery by showing you some medicinal qualities of the local plants. You will be able to drink some tea made from the surrounding forest that the guides have gathered in the summer months.
  
  A lunch awaits you at an igloo, with a friendly guide to seat you inside, or perhaps you prefer a sun-warmed snow wall!
